Almost half will experience a mental illness at some stage in their lives. For many people, talking to your GP is the first step towards getting help.Your GP is interested in your mental health and well-being. Each year around 3 quarters of a million Australians seek help from a GP for a mental illness. If you feel that you might need help to improve your mental health and well-being, you should talk to your GP. The GP’s at Crestmead have completed Mental Health training and are able to refer you to other services as well.
Crestmead Medical Centre runs an appointment based practice but also caters for emergencies that present.
